Last week's actions
Last week we conducted a business meeting. We reviewed the Club Budget and spending to date. We will also review for approval the Foundation Budget prepared by our Foundation Committee. After some discussion we asked the Foundation Committee to rework some of the elements and bring the budget back for approval. We voted on new meeting times starting in January of 2022, fourth Thursday being an evening meeting with socials and special speakers. The Proposal was approved. We discussed the purchase of Club Shirts for the members and approved a style and color. We were not able to spend much time working the details of our Chili Cook off and Cornhole Tournament fund raiser for World Polio.
World Polio Day Fund Raiser
Save the date for the Melissa Rotary Club Chili Cookoff and Core Hole tournament Tournament fund raiser for World Polio, Saturday Oct 23rd.
We are looking for Chili and Cole Hole contestants along with sponsors for the event. We will be at the City Hall Plaza Pavilion from 11:00 to 2:00. For more information contact John Cave at 20jec18@gmail.com or 972-836-3201
